What a great day for a tennis match! The Springboro Boys Varsity White team played their 4th road game of the season on Tuesday traveling to Beavercreek. It was a great day with temperatures in the ’70s and not a cloud in the sky. In singles, Connor Cook won 6-2, 6-3. Second singles Linus Kennedy won 6-1 and 6-3. Third singles Apurv Dongre won 6-2 and 6-1. Doubles Jason Jiang and Mitchell Post lost 2 hard fought sets 6-7 and 6-7. Finally, Eric Maurer and Nate Darner lost 2-6 and 1-6. It was a hard fought match and a total team effort to come away with the victory 3-2. Our overall record is 3-2 and compete on the road again at Wayne on Thursday at 4 PM.
