Panthers News · Springboro Varsity Boys Tennis White earns another W on the road vs. Wayne

Another great day for tennis! By far the best weather we had this season with temperatures in the upper 70’s and a road trip to Wayne. Arriving at Wayne the wind picked up so we had to make some adjustments to our game if we wanted to earn the victory. Adjustments were made and we earned the team victory 5-0 and enjoyed the weather. First singles saw Connor Cook win 6-0 and 6-1. Second singles Linus Kennedy won 6-0 and 6-0. Apurv Dongre in third singles won 6-2 and 6-0. Doubles Mitchell Post and Jason Jiang came from behind in a hard-fought first set 7-5 and won the second 6-1. Nate Darner and playing with the white team for the first time this season Krishna Singla won 6-0 and 6-0. The team won 5-0 to earn their second GWOC League victory and improve to 4-2 overall. Next week we have 3 tough road games. Tuesday at Valley View, Wednesday at Mason, and finally Thursday at Centerville. Please come out and watch these players compete and hopefully enjoy the weather!
