Favorite Memories from High School Athletic Career:

  • Freshman Football Season – going undefeated and hanging 63 points on the scoreboard against Centerville
  • Sophomore Baseball Season – making it to the State Final 4
  • Junior Year Football Season – 5 overtime game against Dublin Jerome in the first round of the OHSAA playoffs
  • Senior Year Football Season – Springboro’s first D1 OHSAA home playoff win vs. Findlay

People you would like to thank:

  • He is extremely thankful for all of the people that have helped guide him along the way. He wants to thank his family for the love and support they have have given him and everything they have done to help him succeed. He wants to thank all of his teachers and coaches through the years for [pushing him and developing him into the person and player he is today. He wants to give a special thanks to Coach Fisher for all the time he has spent with him since 6th grade. Lastly he would like to thank Coach Fox and the rest of the Valparaiso staff for believing in him and giving him this great opportunity to continue his academic and athletic career.

  • Sophomore Year baseball State Semi-Final Run

  • I would like to be a sports agent

Favorite Memories from High School Athletic Career:

  • Beating Trotwood his junior year to win the conference championship
  • Beating Findlay in the first home playoff win
  • Working with my group of receivers and quarterbacks all summer

  • He would like to thank his Mom, Sister Mallory, and his Step-Dad Andy. He would also like to thank all of his other family members for being a part of something so special. He would also like to thank Coach Stinebaugh as well.

  • Being able to play Miamisburg one last time and celebrating in the locker room after a WIN!

  • He would like to thank his mom and dad for always believing in him. He would also like to thank his Springboro football coaches for developing his athletic ability and work ethic. Lastly, he would like to thank his teammates for pushing him and always being by his side.

Fall Signing Day – 11/11/2020

* Today’s Signing Day event is not open to the public.  Due to COVID-19 protocols, only family will be allowed to attend.  Athletes have been assigned a designated time slot to come in with their families.

Girls Basketball Signee

Jordan Hobbs

College/University – Rice University

Anticipated Major – Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology

Anticipated Occupation – Physical Therapist

Favorite Memories – After the tragic loss of our girls basketball coach, Wayne Kemper, the team had to play Centerville. The entire Springboro Community rallied around the girls and showed their support all the way in Troy. Had a 4th quarter comeback to win the game and move on to the District Finals.

People they would like to thank – She would like to thank God for surrounding her with people who have loved and supported her. She also would like to thank Zach Johnson, Charlie McMahon, all of her past AAU coaches, Coach Benj, Coach Fox, and Coach Meek. She would like to thank her teammates and especially Peyton Nation for pushing her and helping her get through all the tough times. Most importantly she would like to thank her parents who have always been there for her and pushed her to be the best on and off the court.


Boys Golf Signee

Anticipated Occupation – Professional Golfer on the PGA

Favorite Memories – Walking the last 36 holes at State with Coach Martin, all of the van rides with the team to different tournaments, Playing Par 2 putt putt course up in Toledo for the Inverness Tournament

People they would like to thank – He would like to thank all of his friends and family who have supported him throughout his athletic journey, the staff at Heatherwoode Golf Club, and Coach Martin and his family.

Favorite Memories – Going to the State Final Four.

Favorite Memories – Being apart of the baseball team that made a run in the State Tournament and made many of his best friends on that team.

People they would like to thank – He would like to thank is Mom and Dad for shaping him into the man he is today and keeping him on the right path and always staying focused on his goal of playing baseball at the next level. He would also like to thank Bart Davis, ProForce, Lance Durham, Coach Pelfrey, Coach Schmitt, and Coach Murphy. He would also like to thank Coach Stinebaugh, Coach Yost, and Coach Kennedy for always being great role models for him.

Abby Susec

College/University – Ohio University

Anticipated Major – Biology

Anticipated Occupation – ER Physician

Favorite Memories – Nothing beats winning the Classic in the 2019-20 season.

People they would like to thank – She would like to thank Tucker, Rebecca, and Sara because they have been some of the best HS Coaches the swim team could ever ask for. They also keep every meet exciting. She would also like to thank her parents for squeezing themselves into stands at every meet, risking hours of back pain for second of my swimming.


Hannah Hill

College/University – Purdue University

Anticipated Major – Engineering

Anticipated Occupation – Engineer

Favorite Memories – Being apart of several record breaking relay teams, being apart of the first ever female team to win the Southwest Classic, qualifying for state 3 times and winning state twice her junior year. She also loved all the fun shenanigans that happened outside of the pool from all of the inside jokes and to the makeshift karaoke on the bus.

People they would like to thank – She would like to thank her parents, Jeremy and Johanna Hill, all of her coaches including Coach Tucker, Coach Ken, and many others. She would also like to thank all of her teammates, friends, relatives, teachers, her future coaches at Purdue, Coach John and Molly.

Hannah Dwenger

College/University – Ursuline College

Anticipated Major – Exercise Science

Anticipated Occupation – Physical Therapist

Favorite Memories – Winning against Centerville in the 2019 season and scoring the winning goal, with a header, against Fairmont this season.

People they would like to thank – She would like to thank her entire family, her Nana and Grandpa, and especially her mom for signing her up for soccer and always supporting her. She would also like to thank all of her coaches for turning her into the player she is today.


Gina Gildea

College/University – Walsh University

Anticipated Occupation – Orthodontist

Favorite Memories – Her favorite memories are winning District in soccer and all the GWOC Championships in Soccer and Basketball.

People they would like to thank – She would like to thank her parents for supporting her in everything and all the rides to practices and games. She would also like to thank her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins for their support, and a big thanks to all of her coaches who helped her become the athlete she is today.

Favorite Memories – Her favorite memory is tying Centerville in her first ever career game.

People they would like to thank – She would like to thank her mom for driving her all over the country to games and tournaments and always believing in her. She would also like to thank her grandparents and sibling for all the support. She would also like to thank her coaches, Coach Jamie Tipton and Coach Chris Galbraith for believing in her and giving her the opportunity to be a starting varsity goalie as well as all of her club coaches as well. She would also like to thank Dallas Boyer and the coaching staff at Cleveland State for giving her the opportunity.
