Trailing 16-8 in the first quarter Springboro went on a 15-0 run in the second quarter to take control of their game with Ursuline Academy Saturday afternoon at the Domino’s Gymnasium. The Panthers led by as many as 13 points and went on to a 51-45 victory over the Lions. Sophomore guard Jordan Hobbs tallied 17 points to lead the Panthers to their 10th win on the season. Senior forward Rachel Gillum had an outstanding defensive performance and added 8 points and 5 rebounds. Springboro played without leading scorer Peyton Nation who suffered an injury to her left eye last Wednesday at Springfield.

The Lady Panthers host Miamisburg Wednesday night in a GWOC National West contest.
